Product Overview
The HWM Series Magnetic IC Card Smart Water Meter is a prepaid smart water meter that uses an IC card for credit recharge and automatically controls the valve based on the remaining water balance. Users must pay before consuming water, enabling an effective prepaid water management system. The product is widely used in residential communities, apartments, hotels, schools, rural areas, and other applications.
Product Features & Advantages
- Prepaid Function: Adopts a “pay first, use later” model, effectively solving water bill arrears issues associated with traditional water meters while improving cash flow recovery efficiency.
- Data Inquiry Function: Users can check cumulative water consumption, remaining water balance, and the current recharge amount.
- High Measurement Accuracy: Utilizes advanced sensing and microelectronic technologies to provide accurate metering, reduce manual reading errors, and improve fairness in water usage management.
- Automated Management: Eliminates the need for on-site manual meter reading, reducing labor costs while enabling remote monitoring and automatic water usage management.
- Alarm & Automatic Valve Shut-Off: When the remaining water volume reaches 5 m³ (adjustable setting), the meter issues an alarm and closes the valve to remind users to recharge. The valve can be reopened by tapping the paired user IC card on the meter. Once the balance is depleted, the valve automatically closes again.
- Low Voltage Protection: When the supply voltage drops below the preset threshold, the meter displays a “Low Voltage” warning and automatically closes the valve within one minute.
- Water Saving & Environmental Protection: Real-time water usage inquiry helps users improve water-saving awareness and reduce waste.
- High Security: Equipped with anti-tampering protection to prevent unauthorized modification and capable of generating automatic alarms for abnormal conditions.
