Product Overview
The HVA Electric Three-Way Control Valveis a specialized modulating valve used in industrial automation systems for flow distribution, mixing, and flow diversion of process media. By receiving analog signals (4–20mA) or digital signals from control systems such as DCS or PLC, the valve can precisely regulate flow distribution, mixing ratios, or switching between two or three process lines. It also enables accurate control of flow proportion between branches. The product is widely used in applications such as building HVAC and environmental control systems, industrial process control, energy system protection, fluid distribution, and process switching systems.
Based on flow direction and function, the three-way electric control valve is mainly divided into two types:
- Mixing Type (T-Type): Two inlet streams enter from different ports, are regulated and mixed by the valve plug, and discharged from a single outlet. Suitable for mixing applications such as temperature control (e.g., mixing hot and cold water).
- Diverting Type (L-Type): One inlet stream is distributed by the valve plug into two outlet ports. Suitable for flow diversion and branch switching applications (e.g., distributing fluid to different process lines).
Product Features & Advantages
- High-Precision Mixing & Flexible Switching: Flow ratio control accuracy up to ±1%, supports continuous modulation from 0–100%. Response time ≤ 5 seconds for fast switching.
- Integrated Three-Way Body Design: No additional piping required, reducing system leakage points. Straight or angled flow path design with pressure loss coefficient ≤ 0.8, ensuring low energy consumption.
- Wide Turn-Down Ratio & Strong Adaptability: Standard turndown ratio up to 50:1, advanced models up to 100:1. Supports equal percentage or linear flow characteristics for different process requirements.
- High Sealing Performance, Zero Leakage Option: Wear-resistant and erosion-resistant plug and seat design with service life ≥ 100,000 cycles.
- Wide Media Compatibility: Suitable for water, oil, steam, and acid/alkali solutions. Explosion-proof versions available for hazardous operating conditions.
- Smart Communication Capability: Supports Modbus/HART communication protocols and analog signal control for seamless integration with automation systems.
