The HGE Edge Data Collection Computer is designed for public infrastructure applications such as residential communities, buildings, industrial parks, server rooms, schools, hospitals, apartments, sports arenas, and more.The device is capable of collecting data from a wide range of measuring instruments and sensors. It supports meter reading for large-caliber meters and valves, control of large valves and pumps, and can be further extended to collect and monitor data from temperature, humidity, pressure, water level, methane gas (CH₄), and other sensors in pipelines and underground environments .Upstream communication is based on 4G networks, while downstream communication supports standard RS485 and M-Bus interfaces, as well as analog signal output.The device integrates intelligent edge computing algorithms, enabling local data acquisition, real-time processing, intelligent analysis, storage, and interlocking control. This effectively addresses limitations of traditional cloud computing systems such as high latency, large bandwidth consumption, and data security risks.Raw data is processed and filtered locally—noise is removed, features are extracted, and real-time inference is performed—so that only valuable or compressed data is transmitted to the cloud. With strong functionality, simplified installation, wireless deployment (no wiring required), immediate operation after installation, and reduced overall cost, the device is widely used in smart environment systems, smart agriculture, smart water management, smart buildings, smart manhole covers, smart transportation, smart fire protection, smart utility tunnels, and smart industrial applications.
